This report dated January 22, 1862, includes the number of officers and men present for duty in the Union Army brigade commanded by Brigadier General Darius N. Couch. The brigade, posted at Camp Brightwood in Washington, DC, included the 2nd Rhode Island, 7th Massachusetts, 10th Massachusetts, and 36th New York. It is signed boldly by Couch at the lower-right. Very good. Measures approximately 26" x 8 1/2".
