A well-dressed man poses in this CDV view by photographer Tyler of Easton, Pennsylvania. He wears a civilian coat, but holds at his side an army forage cap. Is he a militiaman? Is he a new recruit? Tyler’s imprint is found on the reverse. The carte was slightly trimmed from the bottom. Measures about 2 3/8” x 3 3/4”.
