In this mounted cabinet card c. 1905, three young men pose at the “High Watermark of the Rebellion” monument at Gettysburg National Military Park. The monument stands before the famous “copse of trees,” and can still be visited today. The image is a 5 1/2” x 4” albumen print affixed to a rigid paper mount measuring about 7 5/8” x 5 3/4”. At the lower-right corner of the mount is the imprint of Gettysburg photographer Marian F. Williams.
