Two men pose outdoors in this sixth plate tintype image while a third man lurks in the background. Both men wear aprons while the man on the right-hand side has quite a bit of muck on his shirt. This image was sold to me with the suggestion they were farriers, which could be true, but no tools or other clues are visible in the image to support the theory. It is an interesting outdoor image nonetheless. The plate is in very good condition with slight crazing. It comes housed in a full case as shown.
