This late-war CDV image features a Union Army private of the Army of the Tennessee. He wears an unbuttoned infantryman’s frock coat over a vest and watch chain. He is unidentified. On the reverse is the backmark of Army of the Tennessee photographers Taylor & Seavey over a 2-cent revenue stamp. Measures about 2 1/2” x 4”.
