Union General Joseph Hooker is featured in this CDV view by E. & H. T. Anthony of New York, with credit to Mathew Brady’s negative. The General appears in a 3/4 seated pose with his major general’s stars visible on his shoulder. The albumen has some spotting as will be noticed in the scan. There is also a crease along the top edge of the carte. Measures about 2 1/2” x 4”.
