The young man pictured in this cabinet card by Boston photographer McCormick & Heald wears a double-breasted frock with a leather belt with 1874-style plate around his waist. One hand rests on the pommel of his sword while the other cradles his chasseur-style cap. A penciled note on the verso reads “Sarah S. Rogers.” Very good condition with toned mount. Measures 4 1/4” x 6 1/2”.
