A trimmed piece of patriotic Civil War stationery featuring the early corps commanders of the Army of the Potomac, including Generals Nathaniel Banks, Irvin McDowell, Erasmus Keyes, Samuel Heintzelman, and Edwin Sumner. It is marked as having been produced by famed lithographer Charles Magnus. The letter was trimmed to save only the decorative portion, which measures about 5" x 3". On the reverse are a few lines of a homesick soldier's letter. Excellent condition.
